Yoga ꩜

I craft supported and fun spaces for people to encourage exploration into life.

Through movement and flow - Qigong, Elemental Yin, Hatha & Pranayama - I love diving into ‘felt experiences’. Sessions are physically and emotionally beneficial, allowing people to be themselves, using their own needs as guidance.

As a Trauma Informed practitioner I hold fully inclusive spaces using the principles of The Circle Way. As an anatomy geek from an Ashtanga background, I guide alignment and precision in yoga asana so you find your own ‘perfect pose’ through intelligent preparation. My creativity brings embodiment and introspection for you to explore the depths of your feeling.

Everyone deserves the opportunity and support to discover their own toolbox to navigate this giant universe, and to look after their well-being. Here’s what happens

Work with me.

Whether you want to focus on specific areas of your own body or specific areas of yoga, one-to-one sessions are a great way to get the teacher to yourself, and focus solely on your own experience.

I’ve worked with injury rehabilitation, Tourette’s, hypermobility, nervous system balancing, and create personalised programmes not generalised study…

You might just want an online Yin or Restorative session for yourself, in the comfort of your own home… A real treat.

Sessions can be in-person, or online. Your investment is 950DKK per hour, and I recommend block booking a few sessions, so some consistency can be achieved.

Bring mental and physical flexibility and fitness to your workplace, focusing on employee well-being with small group classes structured to meet the needs of your team. Sessions can be online or in-person, and align with your corporate wellbeing strategy..

I've worked with Brandwatch, Pandora, SiteImprove, Mærsk A/S, OneSubsea, Leeds BID, Leeds University, AXA Group, Pure Gym, Intermarketing Agency (UK), and Sports England, amongst others.

Investment is 1300DKK per hour, longer projects negotiated, and we talk about your ideas (or one-off event) and how best to deliver for your people!

About me…

I teach from a place of lived experience, which makes everything I do thoroughly authentic.

My entire life has been filled with movement practices, from my Punjabi father’s daily exercise, gymnastics, through dance school, martial arts, and almost 25 years of yoga asana.

Through this journey I’ve had various obstacles to overcome; a spinal fracture, knee operations, hormonal shifts, and mental health rollercoaster.

It’s in my nature to take control, to learn, to ask “how” and “why”…. So, all of these obstacles, have been investigated. I’ve learned and developed my understanding of myself from them, I’ve educated myself alongside physiotherapists and trainers, and stepped into organised education on anatomy, neurology, and philosophy to support my journey.

The “gift of the curse” of injury - as my teacher Bonnie says - is that we learn the importance of movement of the parts of our bodies.

This passion is what goes into my teaching, this knowledge and knowing and ownership is what I deliver. Across every area that I teach.

The practices I use are simply our tools to explore our existence in the bigger context of life; functionality, playfulness, strength, intuition, rest, and more. Working with cycles in this way makes sure that we use Yin and Yang energy, creating balance intelligently, rather than forcing or being too stagnant, as well as keeping the brain steadily stimulated rather than stressed - and I always encourage using intuition…

Let’s all move from passive information, to active wisdom.

(Scroll down for full education…)

I’ve supported many individuals through improvement of their yoga asana practice and injury rehabilitation, and taught at large events, outdoor events, run breath-work and mindfulness sessions in businesses, and delivered specialised small group classes for the elderly.

All these experiences will come into my sessions with you - creative, calming, yet challenging, and always (most importantly) help you find the perfect balance of your energies, your mind, and your body.

If you choose to take private sessions we could focus on practicing specific asana techniques, philosophy and personal development work, or for your office focus on mindfulness and chair-yoga at lunchtime for your team. Yoga is a multi-dimensional practice that’s so much more far-reaching that people imagine…

My perspective on overcoming obstacles is through knowledge.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to learn something new about yourself. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have an event that you want to bring some magic and fun into.

"a totally unique, friendly and informative approach to teaching"

“Well-planned, intelligently sequenced, and encouraging practices... I appreciate the authenticity and positive energy you bring to your teaching. There was a wonderful balance in every class. You allowed the asanas to create the work and found balance in the accessibility”
